Cheryl A. (Butler) Charlebois age 58 of Brockton, died unexpectedly Thursday September 27, 2012 at the Good Samaritan Medical Center. She was the devoted wife of Stephen J. Charlebois, Sr. Cheryl was born Brockton and raised in Stoughton a daughter of Roger Butler of Attleboro and Natalie Taylor of Brockton. She was a resident of Brockton for over 40 years and was a graduate of Brockton High School and Massasoit Community College.

Cheryl had worked for BAMSI for several years, but devoted her life to her family. She loved to dote on her grandchildren. She enjoyed reading, swimming and trips to casinos.

In addition to her husband, Cheryl is survived by her children John Mountcastle, V and his wife Jodi of Hanson, James Mountcastle, Jeffrey Mountcastle and his wife Amy, Stephen Charlebois, Jr., Ashley and Alicia Charlebois all of Brockton. She was the grandmother of Sydni, Griffin, Savanna and Jenna Mountcastle and Olivia Charlebois. She was the sister of Robert Butler of Brockton, Lori Feeney and her husband Paul of Brockton, Lisa Fernandes and her husband Ray of Lakeville and Debra Leydon and her husband Mike of Raynham. She also leaves an aunt Toni Wood of Stoughton and many nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Service will be held in the Conley Funeral Home 138 Belmont St. (Rte 123) Brockton on Wednesday at 11 am with visitation 10-11 am. Burial in Melrose Cemetery.

LaVerne L. (Metz) Wiles age 79 of Brockton, died Wednesday October 10, 2012 at her home surrounded by her family. She was the wife of the late Robert Wiles. LaVerne was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio and had been a resident of Brockton for the past 35 years. Previously she had lived in Chelsea.

LaVerne was a stay at home mother devoted to her home and family. She loved Bingo, cross word puzzles and dogs. She also enjoyed dancing, playing cards and crafts. LaVerne’s true joy in life was her family, especially spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

LaVerne was the mother of Barbara Pisano of Peabody, Robert Wiles of Stoughton, Donna Wiles of Brockton, LaVerne Wiles of Randolph and the late Paul Wiles. She leaves 18 grandchildren, many great grandchildren and was the sister of Carl Metz of New Hampshire and Jean or Gene Metz of Ohio.

Visitation will be held in the Conley Funeral Home 139 Belmont St. (Rte 123) Brockton Saturday 9-10 am followed by a funeral service at 10 am. Burial in Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.

Jeanne M. ( Russell ) Baeta a lifelong resident of Stoughton passed away on Monday December 10, 2012 at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. She was 81 years old and the beloved wife of the late Louis J. Baeta. She is survived by her three sons, Donald L. Baeta of Taunton, Ronald L. Baeta of Stoughton and Thomas L. Baeta also of Stoughton. Other survivors include her two grandchildren Thomas J. Baeta and Heather Lynne Baeta both of Stoughton , her two sisters, Sally Coelho and her husband Russell of Port Jervis, New York and Nancy Deeb and her late husband Robert of Mansfield. She is also survived by her daughter in law Lynne Baeta and many nieces and nephews. Jeanne was also a sister to the late Lawrence Russell, John Russell, Thomas Russell and James Russell.

Born February 6, 1931 in North Easton, Massachusetts, Jeanne was a loving daughter to the late Ruth (Travers) and Lawrence Russell. She attended Stoughton Public Schools and was a 1949 graduate of Stoughton High School. She was employed as a Teachers Aide for many years in the Stoughton Public School System and was also employed for several years as a Lab Technician at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston.

Her hobbies included bingo and gardening. She was also an avid sports fan of all the Boston teams.She had a special bond with her two grandchildren. They will miss her passionate ritual of Cooking fried dough on Sunday’s.

Visiting Hours will be held on Friday December 14, 2012 from 4 – 8 P.M. in the Sheehan Funeral Home, 115 Monk Street, Stoughton. Her funeral will be held on Saturday December 15, 2012 at 9AM from the Sheehan Funeral Home, 115 Monk Street, Stoughton. Followed by a Mass Of Christian Burial for the repose of her soul at 10 A.M. in St. James Church, 460 Page Street, Stoughton. The Pastor Rev. John E. Kelly, officiating. All are welcome to attend. Burial will follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Stoughton. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society, 1115 West Chestnut Street, Brockton,MA 02301 in Jeanne’s memory, would be appreciated.

Joseph Peter Landolfi, “ THE NUTS AND BOLTS GUY” also affectionately known as “JOE” and a lifelong resident of Stoughton, passed away on Sunday December 16, 2012 at the Golden Living Center of Attleboro. He was 84 years old and the beloved husband of the late Ann E. (Gould) who passed away in 2009’. He is survived by his loving son Thomas J. Landolfi of Stoughton and his grandson Clinton A. Landolfi also of Stoughton. Other survivors include his brothers Richard Landolfi and wife Christine, Fred Landolfi and wife Eileen, Eugene Landolfi and wife Loretta, Paul Landolfi and wife Mary, Edward Landolfi and wife Eileen, William Landolfi, sisters, Mary Dorios and husband David, Ann Dugay, sister’s in law, Barbara Landolfi, Elaine Landolfi and 56 nieces and nephews. He was also a brother to the late Frank and Charles Landolfi and a brother in law to the late Joseph Dugay.

Born November 20, 1928 in Stoughton, Massachusetts Mr. Landolfi was a son to the late John and Jenny (DeVito) Landolfi. He attended Stoughton Public Schools and Stoughton High School.

Joe was a self-employed salesman in the automobile parts and fasteners industry for over 42 years. He was the proud owner of the former Atlantic Automotive and T & J Enterprises. Joe was a town meeting member for over 35 years representing both precincts 2 and 8. He was recognized in 2005’ for serving over 25 years as a member of the Intergovernmental Relations Committee. He had been a registrar of Voter from 2002’ – 2008’. He was a delegate and former Treasurer to the Old colony Planning Council back in the 1970’s. Joe was credited with securing an Urban Mass Transportation Grant in the 1980’s that funded restoration improvements to the Stoughton Railroad Station. Mr. Landolfi was a longtime member and former chairman along with his late wife Ann of the Diaconate Board at the First Congregational Church of Stoughton. Joe was also a member and Past Master of Rising Star Lodge A.F. & A.M. in Stoughton, a member and Past President of the Sons of Italy in Stoughton and the Stoughton Rotary Club.

Born in Boston, she was raised in Dorchester and was a graduate of Saint Kevin’s Grammer School in Dorchester and a 1960 graduate of Saint Patrick’s High School in Roxbury. Mary had worked for many years at Gillette Company. Mary was very active at Saint Kevin’s Church and enjoyed playing the organ and the piano at the church. In her spare time she enjoyed reading and sewing. She will be sorely missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing her. Maria Conceicao Da Cunha Figueiredo passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family after a long illness on Tuesday February 19, 2013. She was 90 years old and the beloved wife of Miguel M. Figueiredo “Alfaiate” to whom she was married to for over 63 years. In addition to her husband she is survived by her children, Ernesto Monteiro, Madalena Rego and her husband Joao, Joe Figueiredo and Irene Faria and her husband Frank all of Stoughton. Other survivors include 7 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She was also a mother to the late Joao Cunha Monteiro and a sister to the late Maria J. Resendes, Emilia Da Cunha, Manuel Da Cunha and Antonio Da Cunha.

Born on December 7, 1922 in Sao Pedro, Santa Maria Acores was the last of 5 children born to the late Joao and Jacinta Resendes Cunha. She was a resident of Stoughton for over 42 years. Maria was also a communicant and attended the Immaculate Conception Church in Stoughton. She was employed as a Laborer by the former ACME Boot / Corcoran Shoe Company in Stoughton for over 20 years.

Maria was a homemaker and enjoyed her family very much. She will be missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Visiting hours will be held on Friday February 22, 2013 from 4 – 8 P.M. in the Sheehan Funeral Home, 115 Monk Street, Stoughton. Flowers accepted. Her funeral will be held on Saturday February 23, 2013 at 7:45 A.M. from the Sheehan Funeral Home, 115 Monk Street, Stoughton. Followed by a Funeral Mass Of Christian Burial at 9 A.M. in the Immaculate Conception Church, 122 Canton Street, Stoughton. All are welcome to attend. STOUGHTON — Betty June Hyland, age 87 years, of Brockton, Ma., passed away at Copley of Stoughton on Sunday, March 17, 2013. She was the widow of Charles J. Hyland of New Bedford. Born in Fairhaven, she was the daughter of the late Robert F. and Gertrude E. (Handy) MacMillen. Betty was a registered nurse, earning her Practical Nursing Certificate from Diman Vocational and an Associates of Science in Nursing from Bristol Community College. After retiring from nursing, she enjoyed working at the family’s gift shop on Cape Cod. She leaves her children, Kenneth Williams and his wife Faith of Long Beach, Ca., Patricia Forbes and her husband Bill of Myrtle Beach, SC, and Joan Herman and her husband Bruce of Hanson, Ma.; her sister, Edythe Hodges of Fairhaven, Ma.; three grandchildren, Kenneth, Gwendolyn and Matthew; and her great grandchildren, Samantha, Lorna, Amber and Bridgette. She was the grandmother of the late Eric and Jason, and sister of the late Malcolm MacMillen, Gertrude Perry, Marilyn Perry, Robert F. MacMillen III and Ethel Hargett. Visitation will take place on Thursday, March 21st, from 6-8 p.m. in the Wilson Chapel, 479 County St., New Bedford. Her service will be Friday at 10:30 a.m. at the funeral home, followed by burial in the Veteran’s National Cemetery in Bourne at 12:30 p.m.

She previously worked for MIT as a Bookkeeper, the Town Line Bakery in Canton and at the York Steak House in Brockton as a cashier. She has lived in Stoughton since 1970 and previously lived in Avon. Beloved wife of the late Rosario J. Mother of Jeanne Washburn of Bridgewater and Linda Varnadore of Brockton. Sister of Salvatore Arini of Quincy and the late Joanne Belanger and Josephine O’Connell. Grandmother of Steven Washburn of Bridgewater, Brian Washburn of Canton, Shane and Christopher Varnadore both of Brockton. Also survived by 3 great grandchildren. Paul F. Wolffe age 49 of Taunton passed away at St. Elizabeth’s Medical Center in Boston March 29th. Born in Norwood, he was raised in Canton and Stoughton and graduated from Stoughton High School. He was a Veteran of the United States Army and worked as a Carpenter for Union Local #624 in Randolph. He was a member of the Italian nationalization Club in Taunton and was an avid motorcyclist and fisherman. He is survived by his beloved fiancé Tiffany A. Moran of Taunton. Father of Jeremy P. Wolffe of Taunton. Son of the late Margaret & Donald Wolffe, Sr. Brother of Donald X. Wolffe, Jr. of Taunton, Margaret E. Manning of Brockton, Donna M. Wollfe of Taunton and the late Patricia A.
